Sweet Suspense, an all-girl trio (made up of Summer Reign, age 18, Celine Polenghi, age 16, and Millie Thrasher, age 14) with saccharine vocals and dynamic personalities, has been keeping quite busy since their appearance on Season 3 of The X-Factor. Between the release of their single “Here We Go Again” and a successful national tour for Macy’s this spring, the stateside band that is managed by Sweety High has been on the fast track to fame with an ever-growing fan base. As they set to work on their debut album (with a new single to be released this summer), the girls were kind enough to take pen to paper and answer your most pressing questions. Read on to find out what they had to say about their favorite career moment, their nicknames for one another, and which film they enjoyed in particular this year.

Leticia from Brazil asks: You’ve had a lot of memorable moments in your career already, despite the fact that you’re all very young; if you had to pick one moment out of all of them as a highlight of your career, which one would it be and why?

Summer Reign: Actually, right now we are part of Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star Competition! The opportunity in itself is amazing and surreal.

Micaela from Argentina asks: If you could do a collaboration with any artist in the world of music, who would it be and why?

Celine Polenghi:  Lately, I’ve really been into acoustic music, so I would love to collaborate with Ed Sheeran, but I’d also love to collaborate with an EDM artist like Zedd.

Christine from Connecticut asks: Imagine for a moment that you couldn’t pursue music. If you could try out any job for a day, what would you like to try and why?

Millie Thrasher: I couldn’t really imagine doing anything but singing!

Brooke from Florida asks: Let’s have some fashion fun! If you could be a shoe, what shoe would you be and why that one?

Summer: [I would be a] knee-high leather boot with a heel. I like to feel secure and fierce.

Connie from Texas asks: Quick, look at your playlist. What song have you been listening to the most this week? Is there a reason for it?

Celine: “Cheerleader” by Omi (Felix Jaehn remix). It’s fun and different and I like to find new artists!

Sam from Indiana asks: What was the inspiration behind your single “Here We Go Again?” And can we expect new music, perhaps a full-fledged album, from you guys soon?

Millie: The inspiration behind “Here We Go Again” is to portray the emotions of a breakup. First, you’re just done. Then, you get sad. Then, you get mad. Finally, you’re ready to move on. We are working on more music but we want to get it just right for all of you. You should be expecting it soon!

Liz from Colombia asks: Often musicians have a goal in mind when they create music for the masses. What are you hoping to achieve with your music?

Summer, Millie and Celine: We hope to inspire people with our music. A person should listen to our music and feel whatever emotion that they need to feel. We just want to be able to reach as many people as we can in a positive way.

Jane from New Jersey: If you could pick your song “Here We Go Again” to be in any teen film, which film would it be and why? And speaking of films, do you guys have a favorite from this last year?

Summer: I think “Here We Go Again” would be a great fit for any teen movie (preferably a dramatic teen comedy). I think it’s safe to say that we all really enjoyed The Duff this past year.

Kaitlyn from Pennsylvania asks: What is one activity that all of you like to do together outside of music and performing?

Celine: We like to have slumber parties where we sit around, watch movies and eat nothing but edible cookie dough.

Sydney from Texas asks: What nicknames do you guys have for each other, and if each of you had to describe the other members in one word each, what would those words be?

Millie: We call Summer “Momma Summer” because she’s the oldest, and one word to describe her would be intelligent. We call Celine “Wiggles” because we saw a video of her when she was four-years-old and she was just dancing her life away. One word to describe her would be sarcastic. They call me “Munchkin” because I’m the youngest of the group, and one word they’d use to describe me would be firecracker.
