While studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Megan Ireland began her career as a Fashion Stylist. She styled fashion editorials, advertisements and makeover shows throughout the U.S. for more than seven years. It was during this time that she realized how many ideas she had for photographs and wanted to see what she could accomplish behind the camera. She went back to school and immersed herself in digital and film photography; dividing her time between the darkroom and the digital world. Telling a fashion story through photographs became one of Megan’s greatest loves. Her photographs have been featured in gallery exhibits, fashion editorials and advertisements. She incorporates elements of fantasy, beauty and brings a unique edge to her images.
