Katherine Alex is a writer, photographer, and world traveler. Born in New York City, Alex boarded her first plane at only four days old, and hasn’t stopped since. She has been to all 50 states, visited nearly 40 countries, and lived on four continents. While living in Los Angeles, Alex worked in the music business planning events, marketing records, touring, hosting music shows, and writing. Some of her writing has been featured on MusicplusTV.com, Fuel TV, and in Skratch Magazine. These days, when she is not documenting her travel adventures on paper or through a lens, she can be found at the nearest food cart sampling local eats or experimenting in the kitchen. Her favorite places to visit are Scotland, Laos, Bali, and Southern Africa, where she has been involved with various conservation projects. She is currently working on a children’s book and splits her time between California, Florida, and abroad.
